Mr. Gil Mennetrey
2011, France

Born in France, in a small town in the Rautes-Vosges, of parents who were both hairdressers, Gil Mennetrey has always been passionate about hair care and particularly the treatment of hair loss.

At the age of 23, he earned the award of master craftsman and a little later, he became a member of the prestigious and highly confidential “Club 50” in Paris, which later became the “Hair Club of France,” directed by Andre Benard.

With his friend Norbert Theuret, he created a chain of wigs outlets, Perruq’Shop of France, and was soon the head of 85 franchised stores.

Increasingly passionate about the problems of hair loss, the two men founded the first institute in Nancy capillary in the world under the brand Norgil. Later in 1994 the businessman opened the first French clinic in Paris exclusively dedicated to hair transplantation, under the banner Challeng’Hair. The comfort of the clinic, the safety and especially the quality of its services and procedures made it a great success. It became the benchmark clinic in France for hair transplant, a favorite with celebrities and VIPs from showbiz. Other clinics have subsequently emerged in Spain, Mauritius (in the Indian Ocean), and in Morocco (Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat).

Traditionally concerned with the problems and finding solutions to combat hair loss, he creates and organizes the World Congress of the Research and Solutions for Hair Fall. President of GM Consulting, he now travels worldwide to support professionals and the industrial sector in the development of new solutions.
